The Museum House, Brooklyn, NY

Arisohn + Murphy was engaged in 2018 by Happy Living Development and Douglas Elliman to curate and produce all artwork and exhibition materials for their forthcoming Brooklyn development: The Museum House. Located steps away from The Brooklyn Museum and Prospect Park, the building is part of the iconic cultural institutions and surrounding historical neighborhood.

A+M's art curation included a mock-up apartment and limited edition artist print.  For the mock apartment, A+M curated artworks by local Brooklyn artists that complimented the Atomic Studio designed interiors but also spoke to the discerning eye of contemporary art collectors.  Artist Rachel Klinghoffer was commissioned to create a limited edition print for prospective buyers as well as a promotional teaser for Art Basel Miami Beach.

For the sales gallery, A+M brought to life the marketing and branding materials created by Of a Different Color.  Mixing vinyl images and signage with photographs framed in gallery-quality white frames, the building's story is told with the thoughtfulness and elegance of a museum exhibition.  A+M also produced elevated lifestyle moments inspired by fine art displays, such as building materials hung on the walls a la sculptures, a bike displayed as a design item, and a children's art corner inspired by an artist's studio.
